Bruce, I have found that they scratch far more easily than I like. I suspect that why you haven't has everything to do with how we treat our equipment. I was pretty casual with mine when I tried out the Cokin system and I wrecked several filters and at least one of the plastic holders by bashing into things. I think I would do better with Cokin now though. I really have had to change the way I handle camera equipment in a big way since the move to Pentax. I was able to treat my Nikons a lot rougher than the Pentaxes and have them keep working. William Robb
