We've found that the spilling paint technique works very well�provided you use a ridiculously small and entirely unsuitable implement (expired credit card, portion of anatomy, etc.) to attempt the cleanup. Remember, you'll know when you're done painting once you find yourself quaffing a beverage of choice at a location far removed from the scene of the "painting".
