I just finished off a roll of film, and replaced it with another.. no prizes there, but when I took the first photo with the new film in place, the camera made a dying whirrr rather than rolling on to the next frame. The low battery light began flashing and I thought it odd as I had only just put a new battery in it 2 rolls ago. Perhaps I bought a dud battery and need a new one, so, I purchased another battery from a different store and put that in. Still the low battery indicator is flashing.
The manual does touch on this saying if the camera is not used for a period of time this behaviour may occur and to hold the shutter release half down till the low battery indicator goes away. Well, I have tried this but still no joy. The low battery indicator still flashes and the camera is basically a paper weight. Any thoughts as to what may be the problem here or how I might get it working? Kind regards Kevin -- Please avoid sending me Word or PowerPoint attachments.
