If we assume you weigh 85kg then you can carry a 70kg pack? Incredible! When
I was in my twenties, I weighed 70kg - as much exactly as I do now - was
extremely fit and could manage a 40kg (about 90lb) pack - for a week-long
rock-climbing trip. That was absolutely as much as I ever cared to try.
If the trip was longer we used donkeys (asses) to get our stuff to base
camp. Then we took lots of beer as well.
