Tokina RMC 28-85mm 1:4

Yesterday at that used photo gear fair here in Hamburg I picked up a RMC Tokina 28-85mm 1:4 zoom in screw mount for 20 Euros. It is an impressively big piece of glass (length = 94mm, diameter = 76mm, weight = 580 grams). Mechanically it is awesome. Optically of course I do not know yet.

What I would like to know: Is this lens identical, similar or entirely different from the Tokina AT-X 28-85mm 1:4 that was discussed here some days ago (not the AT-X 28-85 1:3.5-4.5)?
