Interesting commentary.
I expect Galens work will be increasing in value exponentially
pretty soon. Personally, I think most of his work fits right
into his comments.
Scarcity will raise the value of anything.
Image quality is something you have to judge according to the
standards of the time the work was made. You cannot judge it by
todays standard with any degree of credibility.
