Why FORBIDDEN ??

I bought my MZ-S on a French internet site .
I received this places coming Germany from, with German owner manual; on her limps, it is writed in English and in French (but no in German !)
" Not for distribution or sale in the United States "
" Distribution et vente interdites aux Etats Unis "
( Distribution and sale FORBIDDEN the United States )

The MZ-S is not the same in French, Germany, U.S. ?
The name is the same !!
