Steve, I have a package and hardware that was reasonable priced (about $90 USD). Your camcorder hooks into a converter which then hooks into a USB port on the computer. Really easy to use and you can do frame advance and capture images to JPGs. I haven't used it in a while and don't remember the name of the product. I will dig it out and send you some info.
