I'd live with it, though, and it would be something I had done with eyes wide open, so you could have a clear conscience. I would be content to use the lens on my PZ-1p and never focus it manually and, as I don't often use lenses of that focal length for selective focus effects, I wouldn't miss not having "hyperfocal marks". Actually, I don't think any of my current lenses have them now. So, please reconsider. We could negotiate the price a bit, too.
