Jim.
I have heard about a battery adaptor but dont remember
ever seeing one.
Bob.
When i bought the SF-1 last year,it had, still has, the rubber
eye piece.Better hang on to it eh<g>
I have only changed the batery twice and both times
had trouble with the screw down system.
My reasoning on moving into a PZ-1p is 2 fold.
1- hate having electeical tape that around the door
seam get hot and stick to my nose<g>
2- would like more view finder info. This was not an
issue before but the D1 has lots of info and i'm
getting used to it(read lazy).

I like the SF1-n because you can get an adapter to use double A
batteries to
power the camera. The PZ1-p doesn't have an adapter although there
was some
talk that someone was making a grip for the PZ1-p that would take
double
A's. Never heard anymore about it.
