Hi Brucey baby,

The point is taken.

However, in defense of the thread on setting up a Windows box, 
photography was at the heart of it. Why? Because if the method of 
communication ain't working properly, there ain't no communication.

If this were some sort of Pentax telephone chat room and someone's phone 
was a bit old and the user thought they could do better, then a make and 
model of phone would be fair play for a topic of conversation, no?

Also: the thread I have been contributing towards (Photoshop Scratch 
Disks) is extremely relevant to modern photography, and Pentax now that 
the Pentax DSLR has been announced. Just as darkroom paraphernalia is 
pretty much fair game, so is the digital darkroom, hence computers. A 
sign of the times I'm afraid (to some).

I raise my glass of Chardonnay to the PDML.
