Thats exactly what you're doing when shooting exactly the same image with two or more formats. NO!!!. If you change formats, and focal length, the subject size ON THE FILM will change, unless you also adjust the camera to subject distance. If the subject size is kept the same on the film (reproduction ratio), then DOF will also be the same at any given aperture, no matter what format you use. William Robb
