My name is Pat, and in 1979, I was shooting with a horrible Praktica. I
bought it new and the shutter started showing wear and leaking light within
a year. I gave it away, then considered the OM-1 and the MX, and went with
the MX (preferred the shutter dial location).

I used the MX happily for 17 years, then went AF and AE with the MZ-5, but
traded it for the MZ-5n in three months. They seem so much like the MX,
they're really friendly and familiar, unlike the PZ series, which never
tempted me.

Last year I got an MZ-S and 6x7, and really enjoy both of them. I never
thought I'd buy a camera as expensive as the MZ-S, but I sure don't regret
it. The MZ-S and 6x7 both say quality and reliability to me, and they seem
friendly. I like that.
