Thanks, Bruce< i have done many things over the years and one of them has been dealing with book and magazine layout and other things that a typical graphics artist does, sometimes having to do it myself. i do volunteer work helping produce maps, books and stuff for a non-profit. the experience working with printers and graphics artists while being a writer, photographer, and cartographer supplying their input has made me much more aware of what is in the realm of the possible. it is far better than many people would believe. getting things "right" as far as color management and so on is far more tricky than it should be even on the Mac side of things. on the PC side where i work, it can be much harder. now the really hard part, figuring out which ONE picture to send.
