You're right Bruce.

No one is going to change anyone's minds about the issue.  So, it ends up not being a
discussion as much as spouting one's views, to the pleasure of the like minded, and the
displeasure of those in the opposing camp.

And I'm sure that the whole thing is most aggravating to those who are in between, but
have to delete dozens of posts that have nothing to do with Pentax, photography, or
anything remotely connected to it.

Let me apologize if my earlier post was misinterpreted.  I was attempting, in what I'd
hoped would be a semi-humourous way, to ask for a cessation of the thread.  At the same
time, I let my position on the issue be known, although I tried not to enter the
argument itself (ie:  respond to a specific post, or discuss the issue itself).  In
retrospect, that was a mistake on my part.

In fact, since portions of my post were repeated several times, it appears that it had
the opposite effect that I had hoped, that is to end the thread.

Again, apologies, and please, let this end now.
