Correct: the LDAP backend cannot be a slave. Due to the lack of
transactions in LDAP, the author rightly considered slave to be
dangerous, as it could leave your directory in an inconsistent state.
You could set up a second backend (on the same server) (e.g. SQL) to
cater for the slaves.
