It's the syslog box, so there are heaps and heaps of DNS requests. > What OS is this box running? Do you have a script that cleans /var/run/ > periodically? Perhaps using cron at 10:00 ? CentOS release 4.6 (Final) Nothing cleans out /var/run/.
