I think you've got the two possible solutions. Pick the one you're most
comfortable with: scripting or slaving. Depending on your current setup,
you might be able to configure the "final target server" as
supermaster, and script off a DNS NOTIFY for each of the zones you want
to carry over; PDNS will do the rest :-)
