-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all,
I'm trying to setup a subdomain delegation using the LDAP backend but did not manage to get it working so far. I found this post on the web and that is exactly the problem I'm facing: http://old.nabble.com/Re%3A-Delegation-of-subdomain-when-allow-recursion-override%3Don-p27247362.html The workaround described in this post works but I would prefer to have this configured in LDAP directly. So is it possible to delegate e.g. subdomain.domain.net to another server when domain.net is managed by PowerDNS + LDAP backend? With Bind it should be something like: subdomain.domain.com. IN NS ns.subdomain.domain.com. I'm using ldap-method=strict and here are the versions: $ dpkg -l|grep pdns ii pdns-backend-ldap 2.9.22-1~bpo50+1 ii pdns-backend-pipe 2.9.22-1~bpo50+1 ii pdns-recursor 3.1.7-1+lenny1 ii pdns-server 2.9.22-1~bpo50+1 Thanks.
