Hi All,

I installed from PowerDNS recursor 3.7.3 from scratch some days ago.
However seems that it doesn't run at startup. If I reboot the server I need
to digit service pdns-recursor start.

I checked the init.d folder and seems ok

root@banana:/etc/init.d# ls -l *dns*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1839 Nov  1 22:26 pdns-recursor

The same is for rc folders

root@banana:/etc# ls -l rc*/*dns*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Nov  1 21:13 rc0.d/K01pdns-recursor ->
../init.d/pdns-recursor
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Nov  1 21:13 rc1.d/K01pdns-recursor ->
../init.d/pdns-recursor
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Nov  1 21:13 rc2.d/S18pdns-recursor ->
../init.d/pdns-recursor
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Nov  1 21:13 rc3.d/S18pdns-recursor ->
../init.d/pdns-recursor
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Nov  1 21:13 rc4.d/S18pdns-recursor ->
../init.d/pdns-recursor
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Nov  1 21:13 rc5.d/S18pdns-recursor ->
../init.d/pdns-recursor
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Nov  1 21:13 rc6.d/K01pdns-recursor ->
../init.d/pdns-recursor

I'm running Debian 7.9

I know that is something of stupid but I'm not able to figure it out

Any clues or suggestion will be really appreciated :)

Thank you for your time

Regards,

Federico
