recursive queries to pdns-recursor running in localhost:53.
What should i check? hints file?, allow-recursion entries?

This is a known issue, tracked here -

As a workaround, set recursive-cache-ttl to zero. As a fix, stop
forwarding your traffic through pdns_server.
