Dear Bert, Thanks so much for your answer,
I have use PowerAdmin to create 100 domains with 1000 Records A for each domain. So my test file is 100000 different domains. My PowerDNS version is 3.3.3. So I will try install 4.x.x and test again with graphs. Can you tell me about what resource is most important in PowerDNS (CPU, RAM or Disk Read/Write speed). My boss is very like PowerDNS because it's more security and HA than Bind (cPanel). The only problems is performance. I have test 1 VPS 2 CPU 1GB RAM cPanel and it's QPS is 15000 - 19000. With the same resource 1 VPS 1 CPU 512MB RAM PowerDNS + 1 VPS 1 CPU 512MB RAM MySQL (1 split into 2 VPS because I want to protect database) and I have shown you my results. So I need to boost perfomance equal or higher than cPanel to convince my boss use PowerDNS. Do you have any resource sample (how many CPU, RAM, ...) or any setting ? Sorry because asking too much. One again thanks you so much. Secondly, which version of PowerDNS did you test? Finally, during testing, can you enable graphing? See https://blog.powerdns.com/2014/12/11/powerdns-graphing-as-a-service/ - this shows what PowerDNS is doing as it answers your questions. > Queries per second: 2131.778761 If this is all cache misses on a low-power VPS on 3.x.x, with lots of domains, this number is not unexpected. Can you try 4.x.x and with the graphs? That will allow us to see if performance is what you could expect.
