Hi MRob, The DNS Update specification (RFC2136) has a section that allows a DNS update to do check (pre-requisites) before applying the update. PDNS performs these checks, and it seems that the current records of your domain do not comply with those pre-requisites.
Can you show us the records from your domain and the dns update that you're sending?
