I like Matt's responses too. Geeks seem to like acronyms as well
(often, not always).
How about
Forked Linux users Of Upper oRegon (FLOUR)
Confused Linux users At Portland (CLAP)
Computer Hackers in Linux Land (CHILL) - after all, Linus lives in the
Portland area (last I checked), right?
This HAS to cool off the flames somewhat =)

This is by far the most traffic I've ever seen on the list, and much of
it has been amusing. Its true that people get confused, but we had
people in the drivethrough at *BurgerVille* (those were the days..)
asking for BigMacs. Changing the name completely won't make the
problem go away entirely, since we are in Portland, and we talk about
Linux. I think the people to whom it matters know the difference, with
rare exceptions. This group is pretty informal, and I don't think many
of us actually care about this issue. I have minimal interest in the
issue itself, but watching the flames shooting back an forth has been
entertaining. Geeks really are profesional flamers. So, while it may
be to much to hope that this thread will die down soon, I'll enjoy the
'heated responses' until then.

We have no agenda, no big speakers, and are cool. Come, have some
coffee, talk about Linux. Rife with Linux geeks with lives.
