Yes, there is info on the site on how to acquire that. > One alternative - instead of a physical library, would a PDXLUG account > to the O'Reilly Network / Safari make more sense, as it would be easier > to share? O'Reilly doesn't offer this for LUGs. Would we all pitch in for one account? I have my own Safari account, and can still see the value in paper back books to share. The purpose of the pdxlug library is for people to offer other lug members to borrow their books. Ideally, the borrower and the owner would arrange when this transfer would occur and then would set a time limit for how long the book would be borrowed. Typically, this would be done at the monthly lug meeting. -Robby -- /****************************************************** * Robby Russell, Owner.Developer.Geek * PLANET ARGON, Open Source Solutions & Web Hosting * Portland, Oregon | p: 503.351.4730 | f: 815.642.4068 * www.planetargon.com | www.robbyonrails.com *******************************************************/ _______________________________________________ PDXLUG (a Portland Linux user group) mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlug.org/mailman/listinfo/pdxlug IRC: irc.freenode.net #pdxlug & #orlug
