I would recommend the Motorola E815. Good call coverage. Can be paired with a
nice BlueTooth Headset (Motorola HS850). The text support has a good quick
typing mode, and it has a camera, etc, etc, etc. It supports all the horrible
full motion video crap, but that is pretty much useless.
The real hotness is that you can upload new SEEM files, and enable all the good features on the phone. (File Transfer bia BT, local TransFlash<->Phone copy/move. etc.) The camera is nice to have, but nothing to write home about. For a two phone deal, you can usually get them as part of a 2 year contract.
I have had very good luck with reception from here to the coast, and using the
Werb browser with an open WAP proxy has been cool.
I use Verizon. They are no worse than anyone else, and from some I hear
significantly better then Sprint or Cingular/AT&T. {Isn't Cingular like an
anti-herpes drug or something?}
I guess many (if not all) of the people on this list have cell phones,
and I understand this is an issue of notable religious significance.
So, please chime in; what do you recommend? What is your experience?
