General Discussion -
Meetings are open to new people who just want to come and drink some
coffee with fellow local Linux geeks. The meetings are honestly more
of a sitting around and talking shop and not typically organized or
lead by anyone. If new people show up, we will do introductions. Typically meetings break up into a few discussions and people talk
about different topics related to Linux. If you're interested in
presenting something to the group, we're more than willing to have
your speak about your question/topic/etc.Geek Technical Support -
As usual, you are encouraged to bring your laptop/pc and if you
have a problem or would like someone to assist you with trouble-
shooting, we're always open to lending a helping hand.Anything goes -

As usual, we will be continuing our project with the PDXLUG
virtual library (http://library.pdxlug.org), and if you've already
used it, the meeting is a good chance to get your books you
reserved, and hand out books you're lending. *** Remember to bring back your books that you checked out of the
PDXLUG Library, and bring any books that someone has asked to
borrow! FYI, as of this morning we have around 180 books from about 45 users

INTERNET/NETWORK INFO:
Fireside Lodge has wired internet access and a Wireless AP
and you can come with your wireless card and usually connect to the
network with it. If you don't have a wireless card, you can always
stretch a 6 foot cat5 cable to their plugs. As usual, the meetings are very informal. Don't expect it to be a
lecture-type gathering with speakers and such. Just come and have
