Is anyone here using ClamAV? I just installed it on my personal server and am wondering if anyone would like to share how they use it for outgoing and incoming email.
Are there other virus systems similar to clamav that I should consider before I continue setting up clamav?

Yep. I run clamd and connect to it from amavisd-new. I run 'freshclam' every other day.
IMHO, its best to use more than one virus scanner, because some are slower at getting the new defs... and the newest virii are always the ones people are wanting to stop (especially ugly ones that increase network traffic).
