Hi,
Intel are looking for Linux kernel gurus with PDA
and/or real-time experience. They need 'em bad.
To me, the interesting things are that Intel are
looking at Linux as a PDA OS, and it sounds like
they're going to be building the thing, not merely
building chips that others could use to make one.
They also seem fanatically interested in Linux as the
OS for digital boxes for TVs.
>From what I've seen and heard, it looks like there's a
serious push to make Linux the de-facto standard for
all household/handheld computer-based devices, and it
looks like they're making an effort to be the ones
setting the standard.
That should provide a little gossip-fodder for lunch.
