Does anyone know if it is possible to keep the passwords for users as I migrate them to the new server with vpopmail accounts?
This might be what you're looking for:

Migrating mailboxes to vpopmail accounts. I haven't done this before, what sort of things should I look into for handling this migration?
FWIW, I'm not sure I'd bother with vpopmail. I know it's a popular solution for mass virtual mail hosting, but there's a lot to be said for the transparency of plain old user accounts... IMO, that's also one of qmail's greatest strengths.
$.02,
Thanks,
I've already got it installed and configured, just need to migrate existing users from my old machine to my new one. Since I have quite a few domains with many many free email accounts, it just seemed like the easier way to manage several hundred email accounts (and more being added every day).
I'll look into the above vpwd2psql script as well and see if it'll help my migration.
