Hey, if you missed it: http://www.cacert.org - Our own chance for a community Certificate project. We need Assurers (ID Checkers) and stuff in Portland. 100% free of charge Certificates, signings and ID underwriting. I am pretty jazzed about it, and I think that it would be nice to have a little more general cert for all my servers.
They do SSL Certificates for personal use, server use, wildcard site servers, and OpenGPG keys.
