I'm having a similiar fun time with my nvidia card,
The screen looks "okay" but it's in black and white, i don't know if that's a misconfiguration though or some quirk of my setup (svideo out with a Rca (or component??) adapter to a rca in on the old tv i'm running it to..

Hi, I'm running Fedora Core 2 on a Dell Inspiron 600m and I'm trying to get the TV out to work. When I installed the closed-source ATi drivers and configured them, one of the options was to enable TV out, which I did and selected the Clone Mode. Well, I configured the sync rates for my primary monitor (the LCD on the laptop) and then it asked me to configure the sync rates on the second monitor (the TV out signal). I can't figure out what values I should put in for the Vsync and Hsync to get it to work correctly. The image on my TV is B&W and looks really nasty, like I"m going to damage it or something if I keep it running on there. Does anyone know what the Hsync and Vsync ranges should be for TV out? Thanks in advance!

Adam

I don't, but if you figure it out can you give me some info on what you did to get this to work? I tried to use a few things to get my tv out for my ATI Radeon and ATI Rage 128, but which have TVOUT, but haven't managed to get it to work.
