This is not necessarily linux related, but I am having trouble
configuring a hard drive with my fancy, new HP NetRAID SCSI
controller.

I have two other drives, a Seagate Baracuda and a WD 9100, which work
quite well. The bus is termniated and the cable seems intact. All of
the drives are SCA-80 with SCSI-68 adapters, and are configured
similarly, using the first three IDs. All of the drives were working
on another adapter, the Tekram DC-390F that I just pulled. I've
changed the ID of the non-working drive, just for fun, but no change.
The controller uses ID7.

The only way I can tell that the controller sees (loose term) is that
it pauses when it gets to it's ID in the scan and there is a white
block next the the ID in the configration menu. The normal drives
have a green block, an array number, and a drive number. If anyone
has any idea what the issue could be, please let me know.

BTW, the jumper settings on the hard drive are limitted to one jumper,
which forces the drive into single-ended mode.

Thanks.
