For testing, no flags (except throwing in some -d's for pretty debugging output). From the startup script:


/usr/bin/ntpd -p /var/run/ntpd.pid -u ntp:ntp

logfile /var/log/ntp.log

server time.nist.gov
server time-a.nist.gov
server time-b.nist.gov

No errors are logged. I can output ntpd -ddd if somebody thinks they can understand it. My configuration should also be just fine; it works on several other machines. I'll be happy to paste it if somebody wants to look anyway.
