So, in case you're wondering what I'm doing throwing ternary
conditionals into views, it's because I don't know what I'm doing
and/or can't figure out what others are trying to do.
I noticed figured that this textilize thing might have something to do
with the fact that I don't have redcloth installed, and then found this
in the rails source:

require "redcloth"
# Returns the text with all the Textile codes turned into
HTML-tags.
# <i>This method is only available if RedCloth can be
required</i>.
def textilize(text)
#...
rescue LoadError
# We can't really help what's not there
end
WTF? It doesn't bother to define it as a pass-through method, but also
makes no complaints about it not being available. Of course I just
need to install redcloth to get this to work, but the question is: how
do we specify that as a dependency such that the script/server will
refuse to start unless I install it? IMO, that would be much more
helpful than failing in opaque/lurking silence followed by run-time
pukage.
