I can see Ryan's point here.  In my case I'm currently subscribed to the 
kohalabs-based email list, but I've subscribed to the new list using a 
different email account.  So if it's automatic, I'll be getting the same 
email at two different accounts.

As for things changing: well, things definitley have changed.  I'm not 
sure it's good or bad (I'm sure there are elements of both as is always 
the case with change ).  It just is.  Change is inevitable.  Us 
'oldtimers' always wanted Ruby to be more popular, right?  Now that that 
seems to be happening, I'm going to try not to complain too much.

I would like to commend everyone who worked on getting the 
website back up and the new mailing list up so quickly.  I had no 
idea we were the only reason for Pat keep the kohalabs site and domain up.  
This is my last post to the kohalabs list, from now on I'll be posting to 
the new list.

(Pat: if you're out there, thanks for all your help and I suspect you can 
shut down kohalabs within the week if you need to)
