the need for a GUI database tool. I've found it to be much quicker to
just type the SQL for creating my database schema and then running it
from the command line.
Of course. This is what I usually do. But if the syntax and data types are
slightly different (as they seem to be with Postgresql) it's nice to have
that hand holding for a while since the main goal is to learn rails
better, not become a Postgresql expert.
