Anyone know where I can find information and building a
mapping/directions engine similar to Google Maps? Specifically, I'm
interesting in building a vehicle routing engine that will take multiple
addresses and produce an optimal route map. It seems that every
ma-and-pa shop these days is coming up with mapping capabilities, so I'm
hoping maybe it isn't as difficult as I would have imagined?
Alternatively, I would take any recommendations on a web service or
other Ruby-compatible engine that would produce the same information
either for free or very cheap.
