You're definitely on to something here. About how much would we be talking about per person (including the conference cost)? Since I'm pretty sure that the Empire Builder to Chicago starts in Seattle, maybe we should also ask the Seattle.rb folks if they're interested? I've taken that train from Seattle to Ephrata a couple of times and it's a nice way to travel.
