I'd like to give a talk on OpenID at the Feb meeting. If you've never heard of OpenID before, it is a decentralized URL based identity system. OpenID makes lots of things possible on the web like single-sign-on and cross-site identity verification.
I'd like to talk for a little bit about OpenID in general and my Ruby OpenID library. I've just released version 0.9.2 which, for the rails folks, contains a port of LoginGenerator which uses OpenID for authenticaion.
You can read more about the library and OpenID:
http://www.openid.net/

Please let me know if there is room in the schedule and if folks are interested.
Thanks,
Brian Ellin
