For a one-time fix, the admin could login to postgres and set the field
to "da39a3ee5e6b4b0d3255bfef95601890afd80709" for a blank password (or
appropriate hash for something else.)
As for the programmed solution:
We can't mail it back to you because it's hashed in the database. I
suppose we could create a "reset password" link, but to keep joe random
from doing that, it would have to initiate a mail exchange sequence
where you confirm the reset (via e-mail (but I don't think we have a
receiving account for the app) or clicking on a unique link) and then
it sends you a new, random password along with a link to login and go
straight to your prefs page and/or a special page which requires you to
set a new password.
