I've now had us added to the Pearson Education user groups program. In case you aren't aware (I wasn't), Pearson Education is apparently the parent company who's imprints include Addison-Wesley, IBM Press, Prentice Hall, Que and Sams. While they don't currently offer any Ruby books that I know of in those lines, there are quite a few books on related topics. For instance, Jeremy Voorhis was recently talking about Domain Driven Design on his blog -- that book happens to be published by Addison-Wesley. Also, of course, the Martin Fowler signature series is also on AW. Lots of good stuff.

In addition, I've just received word that they will be starting a Ruby series which will include these books:

Extending Rails Beyond the Core, by James Adams
Addison-Wesley Professional — Available July 2006

Rubyisms in Rails, by Jacob Harris
Addison-Wesley Professional — Available July 2006

Mongrel: Serving, Deploying and Extending your Ruby Applications, by Matt Pelletier and Zed Shaw
Addison-Wesley Professional — Available July 2006

If anyone has any review copies they'd like to request, send me an email and we'll see what we can do.

~thomas
