I've got two more books available for review. They are:
Domain-Driven Design (based on the handful of posts on Jeremy Voorhis' blog where he's mentioned it): http://www.awprofessional.com/bookstore/product.asp?isbn=0321125215&rl=1 PostgreSQL, 2nd Edition: http://www.quepublishing.com/bookstore/product.asp?isbn=0672327562&rl=1 If you're interested in reviewing either of these, let me know. I can bring them to tonight's meeting or we can meet up some other time soon. I'll send out the specific guidelines later when I get a chance to dig them up, but they're pretty easy going. You have about 2 months or so to finish the books and get a review written. The review only has to be about 3 or more paragraphs (if I remember correctly) so the load isn't really all that huge. The hard part is just finishing the books (honestly, you can skim much of it as long as you get enough out of it to get a good, honest review written). At this point I'm just going to let people keep the books until I come up with a better solution. Of course, you are encouraged to loan them to other people in the group. Eventually we'll have some sort of lending library set up, perhaps, but for now we'll just keep it simple. ~thomas _______________________________________________ PDXRuby mailing list [email protected] IRC: #pdx.rb on irc.freenode.net http://lists.pdxruby.org/mailman/listinfo/pdxruby
