Dear Dr. Mueller and PEBL development team, My name is Gamze Nas Özütemiz, and I am a lecturer in Audiology at Başkent University in Ankara, Turkey. I am currently preparing a research project investigating "Examination of Visual–Spatial Skills and Subjective Visual Vertical According to Sports Participation and Sport Branches: Gymnastics or Tennis?". For the cognitive assessment part of the study, I would like to use the Corsi Block-Tapping Test and the Eriksen Flanker Test as implemented in the PEBL battery. I would like to kindly ask whether any formal permission, license, or registration is required to use these specific PEBL tasks in a non-commercial academic research project. The study will be conducted with 7–12-year-old children who do and do not participate in sports, and only anonymized, aggregated data will be reported in any scientific publications or presentations. If permission is required, I would be very grateful if you could let me know the necessary steps and any conditions that apply. In addition, I would appreciate your guidance on how you prefer PEBL and these tasks to be cited or acknowledged in resulting publications (e.g., specific references or wording). Thank you very much for your time and for making PEBL available to the research community.
Best regards, Gamze Nas Özütemiz, AuD PhD Department of Audiology Başkent University, Ankara, Turkey -- Öğr. Gör. Gamze NAS ÖZÜTEMİZ Başkent Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Odyoloji Bölümü Tel: 0(312)246 66 66 - Dahili: 2052
