Recently, I'm looking for NIS/YP solution for PHP with no luck, The pecl-yp is the only way to manipulate YP, but it is obsolete for a long time. So I have started to refresh source code to run on modern PHP including PHP 5.3, 5.4 and of cause 5.5. Adding tests to make API more robust. You can see all of change on https://github.com/Gasol/pecl-yp/tree/develop. It works like expected, Therefore i think it's time to make pecl-yp alive. I have already read takeover guideline on the PECL site. What's next? Thanks for help. Gasol.
