The only reference to x264 over there is in Paragraph 4.4: Compilation under Cygwin Also note this one: If you want to build Libav with additional libraries, download Cygwin "Devel" packages for Ogg and Vorbis from any Cygwin packages repository So, how would you like to build the libav DLL's with x264 output support?
