Hi, For information:
Failures may happen when testing on the travis-ci PHP 7.0 environment. This is a known issue, reported as https://github.com/travis-ci/travis-ci/issues/5111.
The issue was created one week ago but it seems it is not always failing. In my case, I got my first failure today. For an example of failure, see https://travis-ci.org/flaupretre/pecl-pcs/builds/92040102.
A workaround is to add 7.0 to the list of allowed failures till travis solves the issue (like https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/8494/files).
