The power symbols are fixed, but you can assign attributes (parameters) for
placing common power
nets to suit with your working practices (colour, net, orientation, type
circle, arrow...)

You did not say if you were using 99SE or DXP, I'll assume DXP. 

As you will want all available support channels during your period you
should also register at
forums.altium.com and select DXP mailing list if its DXP you have. The DXP
is an Altium owned list
and their support staff often respond directly to users there.

Your schematics that tight 1 grid space makes a difference ;-)  ??
