So it isn't nomore. Omitting paying the annual license maintenance just
inhibits downloading updates/new versions and support.

I use CAM350 now, and have used Gerbtool in the past, and really liked
it, but...

Last time I looked, a couple of years ago, Gerbtool was pumpkinware, and
CAM350 was not.

(pumpkinware = timed license, i.e., your software turns into a pumpkin
at midnight if you neglect the annual license ransom.)
