Yes, you are right. Everything under Display/Options menu is a local (sheet) setting. Everything under Tools/Preferences menu is a global setting and is kept in AdvSch99SE.ini file in [Schematic Preferences] Section and also in AdvSch99SE.dft file (Default Primitives' settings).
